أخرج الترمذي بإسناده عن أنس بن مالك قال : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم يقول : «قال الله يا ابن آدم إنك ما دعوتني ورجوتني غفرت لك على ما كان فيك ولا أبالي.
يا ابن آدم لو بلغت ذنوبك عنان السماء ثم استغفرتني غفرت لك ولا أبالي.
يا ابن آدم إنك لو أتيتني بقراب الأرض خطايا ثم لقيتني لا تشرك بي شيئا لأتيك بقرابها مغفرة»
الحديث حسنه الترمذي ووافقه الألباني
.فهذه دعوة من الله للمذنبين أمثالنا، وليست دعوة للوقوع في الذنوب، فإذا وقعت في ذنب ، فاعلم أنك وقعت فيه في لحظة غفلة، استهواك الشيطان فيها وأضلك عن الصراط المستقيم الذي يوصل إلى جنات رب العالمين، ورضاه من فوق سبع سماوات، فلا تجمع مع هذه الغفلة غفلة أخرى عن ربك الذي ينتظرك أن تستغفره لكي يغفر لك، واحرص على ترك كل ما يكون سببا لوقوعك في المعصية، فإن كثرة الوقوع في المعاصي قد تميت القلب، ومن أكبر المصائب أن يموت قلبك وأنت حي بين الناس،
فالله الله في مراعاة حقوق الله على العبد فإنه مطلع علينا، خبير بأفعالنا، لا تغيب عنه غائبة، ولا تخفى عليه خافية يعلم خائنة الأعين وما تخفي الصدور.
وهذه كلمات أذكر بها نفسي المقصرة وإخواني ، رجاء أن يتغمدنا الله بفضل رحمته وأن يقينا الفتن ما ظهر منها وما بطن.
اللهم إني أعوذ بك من همزات الشياطين وأعوذ بك ربي أن يحضرون.
اللهم اغفر لنا ولإخواننا الذين سبقونا بالإيمان، ولا تجعل في قلوبنا غلا للذين آمنوا ربنا إنك رؤوف رحيم.
وآخر دعوانا أن الحمد لله رب العالمين.
