عمر الإنسان ميدان لأعماله الصالحة المقربة له إلى الله تعالى والموجبة له الثواب في الدار الآخرة .
وهذه هي السعادة التي يكدح العبد ويسعى من أجلها وليس له منها إلا ما سعى ، كما قال تعالى :{ وأن ليس للإنسان إلا ما سعى}.
فكل جزء يفوت من العمر خاليا من العمل الصالح يفوته من السعادة بقدره، ولا عوض له منه.
ولهذا عظمت مراعاة السلف الصالح لأنفاسهم ولحظاتهم وبادروا إلى اغتنام أوقاتهم وساعاتهم، ولم يضيعوا أعمارهم في البطالة والتقصير، ولم يقنعوا من أنفسهم لمولاهم إلا بالجد والاجتهاد والتشمير.
فهل لكم فيهم أسوة؟!
